Account & Setup
Download the RideForce Worker app, create an account, and enter your home address. You then choose whether you are commuting to an Industrial Corridor (a major regional employer hub) or a Custom Employer.
Three things: a photo ID (driver’s licence, passport, state ID, or university ID), a headshot, and a payment method on file. Your ID and headshot are reviewed by a person before your account opens, which takes 24–48 hours. Finishing the steps submits you for review — it does not unlock the app on its own.
An Industrial Corridor is a major regional employer (like a large manufacturing facility) where we build massive carpooling density. Selecting this aligns you with highly efficient routes. If you work elsewhere, you can add a Custom Employer and bid on rides or book drivers directly at their custom rate.
RideForce is specifically designed and optimized for recurring work commutes (and one-off work events like interviews or orientations), rather than ad-hoc, on-demand personal trips.
Scheduling & Booking
You can use our Pricing Slider to set your desired total price for your weekly schedule and broadcast it for drivers to Accept, Decline, or Counter-Offer. Alternatively, you can directly book a specific driver based on their custom per-mile rate.
No! RideForce uses Full Work Schedules. You enter your recurring work schedule once (e.g., Mon-Fri, 9 AM - 5 PM), and request a single driver to lock in your entire block for the week.
You can book Blocked Requests for irregular needs. Unlike Full Work Schedules, Blocked Requests can be split among multiple drivers (e.g., Driver A takes you to the interview, Driver B brings you home).
The Ride Experience & Routing
To keep your commute affordable, especially to Industrial Corridors, RideForce relies on Joint Trips. The system automatically matches you with other workers in your area heading in the same direction, keeping any detours under a strict 10-minute maximum limit.
For Full Work Schedules, yes! A single driver commits to your entire schedule block for the week. Only in emergencies or Blocked Requests will you have different drivers.
Tracking & Communication
The Worker app features Real-Time Tracking. You can watch your driver's vehicle moving live on the map, and your exact home address is kept private (masked) until the schedule is actively assigned.
Payments & Fees
RideForce handles payments securely through Stripe. When a driver accepts your bid or you book a driver directly, your card is immediately authorized for the weekly cost.
No hidden fees. We charge a flat $2.00 Passenger Booking Fee per one-way trip, in addition to the base fare you negotiated with the driver. (For example, $4.00 per day in fees for a roundtrip).
Reliability & Support
We hold both workers and drivers to strict accountability, because someone's job depends on the ride showing up. Strikes come from no-shows, late cancellations (within 2 hours of a trip), and excessive lateness. Three active strikes pauses an account for a week, six for a month, nine for a year, and ten removes it. Strikes expire after 60 days — each one stops counting 60 days after the trip that caused it. If you think a strike is wrong, contact support and a person will review it.
If a driver cancels any part of your active schedule, an "Emergency Request" is instantly pushed to the marketplace so another driver (or multiple drivers) can pick up the cancelled blocks to ensure you get to work.
