Experienced Finish Carpenter - Repairs & Renovation

We are seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The project is located in the River Ridge, La. area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong understanding of various carpentry techniques. This role involves working on a commercial project, focusing on high\-quality finishes and craftsmanship. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for transforming spaces with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday working day shifts. Starting pay rate: $22/hr. \- this is a temp to permanent position for the right candidate. Weekly pay by direct deposit. **Responsibilities** * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. * Build, assemble, and install cabinets, trim, moldings, and other finish carpentry elements * Ability to rip out cabinets, floors and plywood for renovation * Execute remodeling projects, ensuring all work is plumb and level. * Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on project progress. **Qualifications** * Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role within the restoration industry. * Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong skills in cabinet installation and repairs * Ability to build and assemble various carpentry structures with precision. * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high\-quality workmanship. * Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on\-site. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Have basic carpentry hand tools along with all PPE and reliable transportation to make it to the job site.
