This role is crucial in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. **Duties** * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting them with their purchases. * Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed and accessible. * Assist in supervising junior staff members when needed, providing guidance and support in their roles. * Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions effectively and ensure accurate pricing. * Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns over the phone. **Requirements** * Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. * Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems. * Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. * Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it can enhance communication with a diverse clientele. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock and inventory levels. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
