Janitorial Worker

**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. **Duties** * Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in church facilities settings. * Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and restocking supplies. * Conduct floor care activities to ensure they are well\-maintained. * Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. * Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. * Act as a porter by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment when necessary. **Requirements** * Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required. * Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus. * Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. * Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move objects as needed during cleaning tasks. * Familiarity with residential painting is an advantage but not mandatory.
