Production Laborer / operator

**Job Overview** **Pre\-shift inspection sheets on all equipment** o Inspect appropriate mobile equipment by checking fluids, air pressure in tires, clean or replace air filters and overall appearance of the mobile equipment. **Dump trucks** o Spot tractor/trailer into the building o Watch truck dump for the clearance overhead o Direct truck out of building o Push material that was dumped into the bin using a payloader **Drive semi to load tanker trailers / Lot Jockey (short distance, only on plant property, never over the road)** o Hook tractor to an empty trailer o Scale empty trailer using attached ladder. o Using the ladder rack, unlatch all hoppers up top. o Pull the tanker into the building under the loadout chute. o Fill hopper with blended material. o Operate conveyor/spout to load tanker. o Move the truck to appropriate hopper until tank is loaded. o Pop lids closed using pipe from the ground. o Scale loaded trailer out. o Using the ladder rack, latch all hoppers up top. o Park loaded trailer in the loaded lot **Unloading railcars** o Using TrackMobile, pull loaded railcar under railcar unloader. o Line up railcar bottom drop into the pit. o Using an impact tool open bottom hatch. o Start conveyor. o Using a payloader transfer material to appropriate bin. o Using the impact tool close bottom hatches **Super sack material** o Get appropriate sacks and pallets. o Fill hopper of the super sacker with material using the payloader. o Operate the super sacker to fill the sacks to appropriate weight. o Place filled sack on a pallet. o Tie the super sack **Blending material** o Using payloader with bucket scale blend materials as per formulas o Push blended material into a bin **Transfer material between the two buildings using payloader and tri\-axle** **Light maintenance** o Check conveyors and equipment. o Grease equipment as needed. o Maintain preventative maintenance on plant equipment as well as mobile equipment. **Miscellaneous** o Keep work area clean and free of debris. o Help with general plant cleanup and grounds maintenance. o Perform other duties as assigned. o Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. o Must be able to walk on uneven surface, unpaved ground. o Must have 20/20 vision with corrective lenses as needed. o Must be able to ascend ladders safely. o Assist with general plant clean up and grounds maintenance using shovels, squeegees and running the sweeper. o Spend time in a hot and cold environment. o Work safely and follow safety procedures. o Collect and clearly label production samples for quality testing. o Must be able to work shift hours.
