Maintenance Technician

**Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the upkeep of residential properties, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient environment. **Responsibilities** * Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs. * Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting using an ohmmeter. * Execute residential painting tasks as required to maintain property aesthetics. * Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. * Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate repair schedules. * Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents and addressing their concerns. * Maintain records of maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs. * Weld components as necessary for structural repairs or modifications. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. **Experience** * Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. * Experience in supervising teams or projects is a plus. * Familiarity with residential painting techniques and materials is desirable. * Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. * Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to maintenance tasks.
