We are currently seeking a skilled Utilities Operations Lead to join our team in Meridian, MS. If you have experience in water/wastewater treatment operations and a Plant Operator license, we invite you to apply.### **Responsibilities** * **Plant Operations:** Oversee the day\-to\-day operations of the water treatment plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimal efficiency. * **Process Monitoring:** Monitor and adjust water treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and disinfection, to maintain water quality within specified parameters. * **Equipment Maintenance:** Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and instrumentation, to ensure reliable and efficient operation. * **Data Recording:** Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including water quality data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities. * **Emergency Response:** Respond to and manage emergency situations, such as equipment failures or water quality issues, implementing corrective actions promptly. ### **Qualifications** * **License:** Class 3 or 4 Water and Wastewater Operator licenses issued by the relevant regulatory authority. * **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or training in water treatment is preferred. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience as a water/wastewater plant operator, as well as experience leading a team. * **Technical Skills:** + Proficient in operating and troubleshooting water treatment plant equipment. + Knowledge of water treatment principles, regulations, and standards. * **Communication Skills:** Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, report on plant operations, and interact with regulatory agencies. ### **Why Join Our Team** We know work isn't only about what you do, it's also about who you work for and with!
